Arcus Arched Nordic Wall Light

The Arcus Modern Wall Light is built around a single bold arch. A matte black iron frame curves up and over frosted glass diffusers, giving a sconce that behaves like a small piece of sculpture when it is switched off and a soft glow when it is on. At 23 cm high and 16 cm wide it stays in proportion on a narrow wall or beside a bed.

Frosted glass does the work on the light itself, spreading the output of two E14 bulbs into a gentle, even wash rather than a hot spot. Because the bulbs are not included you can set the mood yourself, choosing warm white at 2700-3500 K for a cosy room or cool white at 5500-7000 K for a crisper, more contemporary feel. Iron and glass keep the build solid and simple to keep clean.

It suits a bedside pair, a hallway run or a single accent on a statement wall, covering a lighting area of roughly five to ten square metres. The fitting is hardwired at 90-260 V, so plan the position and have a qualified electrician complete the connection. Keep it to dry indoor rooms rather than directly above a basin or inside a shower zone, and dust the glass with a soft dry cloth.
