The Aurora Libra takes its cue from the northern lights, a cone-shaped body topped with an angled diffuser that seems to balance on its own axis. It is a sculptural object when switched off and a soft source of ambience when lit. Black and white finishes both keep the silhouette clean, and the moulded ABS body is light enough to carry from room to room in one hand.

The shade rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts 40 degrees, so you can push light up a wall, down onto a book, or across a table without moving the base at all. Brightness is dimmable, and the 5W LED switches between warm white at 3000K and cool white at 6000K depending on the mood you want. A 2000 mAh battery gives up to twelve hours of cordless running between charges.

At roughly 13.9 by 19.5cm it fits a bedside table, a reading nook, a desk corner, or a table outside on a still evening.
