Bauhaus Layered Glass Pendant Light

The Bauhaus Glass Pendant Light is built around layered glass discs that catch and pass on the light in soft, overlapping bands. Tinted in smoke grey, green or amber, the glass gives the fixture depth and colour even when it is switched off, and a warm glow with real character once it is lit. Slim iron detailing holds the structure together, keeping the piece modern and disciplined in the spirit of the Bauhaus name.

Premium glass is combined with an iron frame in one or two tiers, with diameters of 25, 35 or 45 cm and heights of 11 or 22 cm depending on the configuration. A built-in 12W LED provides warm white light and is included, running on a 110 to 120V supply. The suspension cable measures 1.5 m and is adjustable, so the drop can be set precisely over a table, an island or a stairwell without extra hardware.

This pendant suits a dining room, a living room, a hallway or a bedroom, and larger tiers hold their own above a generous table. It mounts to a standard ceiling point and should be installed by a qualified electrician with the power isolated, leaving sensible clearance above a worktop or a table. Use indoors in dry rooms. Switch off and let the fixture cool before cleaning, then wipe the glass with a dry, lint-free cloth.
