Handcrafted Wooden Pendant Light

The Handcrafted Wooden Pendant Light is shaped from sustainable timber, and because each shade is made individually the grain and tone differ slightly from piece to piece. That variation is the point: it gives the fixture an artisanal character that a moulded shade cannot copy. Three diameters are offered, 23, 35 and 45 centimetres, in two profiles, so the same design can serve a small breakfast corner or span a long dining table as a single centrepiece.

Wood is the whole story here. The shade carries a natural grain and a warm finish, and light passing over and through it picks up that texture instead of flattening it. The glow is soft and ambient, falling in a broad pool below the shade with warm reflected tones on the timber above. The fitting takes an E26 or E27 bulb, not included, so you can set the brightness and warmth yourself, and it works on a wide 90 to 260 volt supply.

It suits a dining table, a kitchen island, a living area, or any Scandinavian, boho or Japandi room built around natural materials. Mounting is a standard ceiling fitting and the cord is height adjustable, so the drop can be set during installation by a qualified electrician. Keep the timber away from steam and damp, which can raise the grain, and dust it with a dry soft cloth rather than a wet one. This pendant is intended for dry indoor rooms only.
