Minimalist LED Wall Light

This minimalist LED wall light is a single clean aluminium bar that runs along the wall as one continuous line of light. Three lengths are offered, 60, 80 and 100 cm, and three finishes, black, white and gold, so it can be scaled and matched to a hallway, a headboard wall or a stretch above a sideboard. There is no visible bulb or fitting, only the bar and its glow.

The integrated LED runs at a warm white 3000 K, which gives a soft, cosy tone rather than a clinical one, and the diffuser spreads it evenly along the full length. Aluminium construction keeps the fixture rigid over the longer 100 cm span and helps it shed heat. Because the LED is integrated and energy efficient, it draws modest power for the amount of wall it lights, and it runs on 220 to 230 V.

It works above a bed as a headboard light, along a hallway wall, beside a mirror, or in a home office where a lamp would take up desk space. Longer versions suit larger walls, while the 60 cm is better for tight spaces. The fixture is wall mounted and hardwired, so have a qualified electrician install it with the circuit off. Keep it to dry indoor rooms and wipe the aluminium with a soft dry cloth.
