Luna Opal Glass Globe Pendant Light

Luna keeps things simple: an opal glass globe on a slim metal stem, offered in a single or double-head version. The glass is smooth and evenly opaque, so the fixture looks like a solid sphere by day and a soft, glowing one at night. Black, gold and white finishes are available, which makes it easy to match hardware you already have in the room.

Opal glass diffuses the bulb completely, giving a serene, even light with no visible filament and very little glare, which is the reason this style works so well low over a bedside table. Bodies are iron and glass, built for weight and longevity, and the 150 cm cable can be shortened to set the drop precisely. G9 LED bulbs are compatible but not included, so you choose the colour temperature.

Use a single pendant beside a bed or in a hallway, or hang two or three in a line over a dining table or kitchen island for symmetry. It runs on AC 85-265V and needs a hardwired ceiling connection, so bring in a qualified electrician unless you are experienced with mains work. Keep it indoors in dry locations, let the glass cool before fitting a bulb, and dust it with a soft dry cloth.
