LunaSpot Modern LED Wall Light

The LunaSpot Wall Light is a circle just 19 cm across with a crescent of light along its inner edge and a small spotlight set into the face. The effect is graphic and calm: a lit arc against the wall and one focused beam for whatever needs looking at. Switched off, it reads as a plain metal disc. Four body colours are offered, black, white, green and orange.

The ambient ring runs at 4 W behind frosted acrylic, so the glow is soft rather than dazzling, and the 3 W spotlight adds focused light for a book or a bedside tray. Both are warm white. Metal and acrylic make up the body, which projects only 6.5 cm from the wall, so it stays out of the way beside a bed or in a narrow hallway.

It is at its best flanking a bed, where it replaces a table lamp and frees up the nightstand, but it works equally well along a corridor or beside a living room chair. The lamp is hardwired at AC 110-220 V, so decide the mounting height first and have a qualified electrician connect it. Use it in dry indoor rooms, and clean the acrylic gently with a soft dry cloth to avoid scratching the diffuser.
