Marble Pendant Lamp

The Marble Pendant Lamp is cut from genuine natural stone, which means the veining across the shade is different on every single piece. The form is postmodern and sculptural, a clean geometric shape softened by metal detailing, and at 18 centimetres in diameter by 16 centimetres high it stays compact enough to hang in a group. Atrovirens, black and white marble options each carry a distinct pattern and depth of colour.

Light from a warm bulb sits low and close under the stone, so the glow is intimate and directional rather than broad, and the marble picks up warmth around its edges. It takes an E27 fitting and accepts an incandescent bulb or an LED equivalent, and it runs across a wide AC 110-260V range. Real stone gives the fixture genuine weight and a cool, solid feel in the hand, paired with refined metal accents at the cord and cap.

It works as a single bedside pendant hung low beside a headboard, or in a row of two or three above a dining table or kitchen island. The cord is adjustable at installation so the drop can be matched to the room. Because stone is heavy, the ceiling fixing must be made into a solid point, and the mains connection is a job for a qualified electrician. Indoors only, dusted with a soft dry cloth.
