Natural Bamboo Pendant Lamp

The Bamboo Pendant Lamp puts a handwoven rattan shade at the centre of the room, with a natural weave that varies slightly from piece to piece. That small irregularity is part of the appeal, since each shade carries the marks of the hand that made it. At 30 cm across and between 18 and 30 cm tall depending on the model, it has enough presence to anchor a table while keeping a light, airy feel overhead.

Woven bamboo and rattan filter the light rather than block it, so the shade throws a warm, dappled pattern across the ceiling and walls while the pool beneath stays soft. It takes an E27 bulb, not included, up to a maximum of 100W, and runs on AC 90 to 260 volts. The cable is adjustable up to 120 cm, letting you set the drop precisely for a high ceiling or a low pendant above a table.

It covers a lighting area of roughly five to ten square metres, which suits dining rooms, kitchen benches, entryways, cafes and bedrooms. The natural material sits well with boho, coastal, Japandi and modern minimalist schemes, and two versions are offered so you can pair or contrast them. Hardwired ceiling installation should be done by a qualified electrician. Keep the shade in dry indoor spaces and dust it gently with a soft brush or dry cloth.
