Nordic Beam Wood and Iron Wall Light

The Nordic Beam Wall Light brings a quiet, warm minimalism to walls that need more than a bare fitting. A solid wood base anchors a matte-painted iron shade and arm, and the soft curve of that shade gives the piece a friendly, rounded profile rather than a hard industrial one. Choose black or white to suit the wall behind it. At 23 centimetres tall with a 15 centimetre shade, it reads as a considered detail instead of a bulky fixture.

The shade directs light downward and outward, producing a gentle, focused pool rather than flat glare across the room. It takes a standard E27 bulb, which is not included, so you can pick the brightness and colour temperature you prefer and swap it later as the room changes. Painted iron keeps the finish even and easy to dust, while the natural wood adds grain and warmth. The fixture runs on AC 220-240V and covers roughly three to five square metres.

It works beside a bed as a reading light, along a hallway in pairs, or above a favourite chair in a living area. Installation is a hardwired wall mount, so have a qualified electrician fit it if you are not confident with mains wiring. Indoor use only, away from damp or wet areas. Switch the power off and let the bulb cool before changing it, and clean the wood and painted surfaces with a dry cloth.
