The opal glass shade diffuses light evenly in all directions, which removes hot spots and gives a soft, flattering wash rather than a hard beam. That makes it particularly useful beside a mirror, where even light across the face matters. The lamp takes a G9 bulb, not included, so you can choose your own colour temperature, and it runs on AC 220 to 240 volts. Wrought iron and glass give it a solid, long-lasting build.
