The Nordic Retro Ceiling Light rounds off the hard edges of a typical flush mount, using a smooth, softly domed profile that sits close to the ceiling. It is Scandinavian in its restraint and retro in its curves, which is why it settles easily into both older rooms and new builds. Black, white and orange finishes cover neutral schemes and bolder ones, and three diameters, 38, 48 and 58 cm, match the fixture to the room.
An acrylic diffuser spreads the integrated LED panel evenly across the face of the light, so there are no bright spots and no visible bulb. A switch-operated three-colour setting moves between warm, neutral and cool tones with no remote to keep track of. Wattage runs 18W, 24W or 36W depending on the size chosen, and the body pairs metal with acrylic. The LED panel is included and long-lasting, with no bulbs to source.
It suits bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, studies and entryways, with the largest 58 cm size best kept for open living areas. The fixture is hardwired and rated IP20 for indoor, dry rooms, so keep it out of bathrooms and covered outdoor spaces, and have a qualified electrician handle the wiring. Cleaning is simple: switch off at the wall, then wipe the acrylic face with a dry, soft cloth.
