Nordic Ripple Ceiling Light

The Nordic Ripple Ceiling Light is defined by its ribbed, sculptural surface, which catches shadow across the face of the fixture and gives a flat ceiling some architectural interest. The rounded resin form is compact at 23 cm across and 16 cm deep, so it suits rooms with limited ceiling height where a pendant would be impractical. Warm white light is paired with a beige, blue or green body for a calm, contemporary finish.

The ribbed surface diffuses light gently, producing a warm, even glow rather than one bright central point, which is why it works so well in living rooms, dining spaces and bedrooms. It takes a standard E27 LED bulb, with 12W recommended, so brightness is easy to adjust by changing the bulb. The resin build keeps the fixture light enough for a flush ceiling mount while staying durable, and it accepts AC 85 to 265V.

It is designed to cover a lighting area of roughly 5 to 10 square metres, which makes it well suited to bedrooms, hallways, studies and mid-sized living rooms. Installation is a straightforward flush ceiling mount, but the fitting is hardwired and should be connected by a qualified electrician in a dry indoor location. Dust the ribbed surface with a soft, dry cloth or brush with the power off, and let the bulb cool first.
