NordicGlow Adjustable Wall Lamp

The NordicGlow Adjustable Wall Lamp puts a soft pastel spin on Nordic minimalism. A matte metal shade in blue, green, grey, pink or yellow sits on a natural wood mount, and the whole shade rotates through 90 degrees, so the same fixture can wash a wall with ambient light or point straight down at a book. The palette is fresh without being loud, which makes it a gentle way to add colour to a plain wall.

The lamp is built from durable metal with a natural wood accent and measures 13 cm across, 14 cm high and 24 cm deep, so it projects far enough to be useful beside a bed. It is a hardwired wall mount running on AC 220 to 240V and takes an E27 bulb, sold separately. A warm white LED gives a cosy, relaxed atmosphere in a bedroom, while a brighter neutral bulb makes it a better fit for a study corner.

NordicGlow suits bedsides, reading nooks, hallways, study corners and living rooms, and a matching pair either side of a bed looks especially tidy. Because it is hardwired, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the power isolated at the consumer unit. Use it indoors in dry rooms only. Wipe the painted metal with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away, keeping moisture off the wooden section.
