Olara LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light

Olara is a flush-mount ceiling light with a softly pleated acrylic shade, and that pleating is what gives it character. Instead of a flat disc, you get a gently sculptural form that catches shadow across its surface during the day and glows evenly at night. It is a quiet piece, designed to sit well in minimalist and contemporary rooms without competing with the rest of the decor.

The shade diffuses an integrated LED source so the light lands warm and even rather than harsh, and you can switch between warm white at 3000K and cool white at 6000K, with dimming to fine-tune the level. Construction pairs an acrylic shade with an iron frame, and the whole fixture runs on AC 220-230V. Being LED-based, it draws modest power and lasts well.

Two sizes are offered, 45 by 18 cm and 55 by 20 cm, covering a lighting area of roughly three to five square metres. That makes it a natural fit for bedrooms, hallways, landings and smaller living rooms, particularly where a low ceiling rules out a pendant. The slim, lightweight body makes ceiling mounting straightforward, though the mains connection should be handled by a qualified electrician. Use indoors in dry locations and dust the shade with a soft dry cloth.
