Orbis is the boldest piece in this group: a tall circular acrylic diffuser set against a matte black frame with a gold accent globe. The composition is deliberately off-centre, so it reads as a wall sculpture that happens to light the room. It comes in left- and right-facing versions, which lets you mirror a pair either side of a bed or run a single unit on a feature wall.
The acrylic ring diffuses an integrated LED into a soft, even glow, while the gold detail catches the light and keeps the fixture from looking flat when it is switched off. Rated at 7W, the LED is built in rather than replaceable, so there is no bulb to source and no filament glare. The body is iron with acrylic, it accepts AC 90-260V, and warm or cold white output is available.
At 48 cm tall and 21 cm across it needs a little clear wall to work properly, so bedrooms, hallways and living room feature walls suit it best. Decide on left or right orientation before ordering, or take one of each for a symmetrical pair. Install it indoors on a dry interior wall, with a qualified electrician making the mains connection. Clean the acrylic with a soft dry cloth and avoid solvents, which can cloud the surface.
