The Portobello Mushroom Lamp is a small cordless table light shaped like a forest mushroom, with a rounded cap resting on a slim turned stem. The form is playful, but the finish keeps it grown-up: smooth natural timber, soft edges and a quiet Scandinavian silhouette that suits a bedside table, a shelf or a reading nook. Choose the lighter Wood tone or the deeper Walnut.
Light comes from a built-in LED that glows through the cap for a soft, contained pool of light rather than a harsh beam. A touch control on the body dims it from a low night-time level up to a comfortable reading brightness, so one lamp covers winding down and page-turning. The body pairs natural wood with ABS, and every piece carries its own grain, so no two caps look quite the same.
Because it is USB rechargeable and completely cord-free in use, it moves easily between bedroom, study, hallway and nursery, running six to eight hours on a full charge. Two sizes are offered, 9 cm and 10 cm wide, so it fits a crowded nightstand or a wider sideboard. If it is used in a child's room, keep an adult in charge of charging, route the USB cable out of reach of children, and treat the lamp as decor rather than a toy. Wipe the timber with a dry cloth only.
