The Quashion Wall Lamp is a small, well-mannered sconce built around a ribbed glass globe and a polished metal arm. The ribbing breaks up the light as it passes through the frosted surface, giving the glow a little movement rather than a flat wash. Choose chrome for a cooler, more reflective look or brass for warmth, in one- or two-globe configurations.
Light output is deliberately soft. A single LED bulb behind the frosted globe produces gentle ambient illumination suited to corridors and bedsides rather than close task work, and you can pick warm white at 2700-3500K or cold white at 5500-7000K to match the room. The metal body carries a polished finish that resists tarnishing, and the lamp accepts a wide AC 85-260V input.
Compact at 15 by 20 by 20 cm, it covers a lighting area of one to three square metres, which makes it well suited to bedrooms, hallways, stairwells and reading nooks, often in pairs either side of a bed. The self-contained mounting system keeps installation simple, but mains wiring should still be connected by a qualified electrician. Fit it indoors in dry locations only and clean the glass with a soft dry cloth with the power off.
