The body is made from solid natural wood with durable fittings at each joint, so the frame holds its position instead of drifting. A fabric shade sits on top and softens the output into an even, comfortable pool of light. It takes an E27 LED bulb, sold separately, which keeps the lamp cool in use and easy to match to the rest of a room. A warm white bulb suits evening reading; a brighter neutral bulb works better over a desk.

Rilna is at home on a bedside table, a study desk, a console or a living room shelf, and it works as an accent as much as a task light. Set it on a level surface, run the cable where nobody will catch it, and keep the flex out of reach of children and pets. Use indoors in dry conditions only.
