A compact projection lamp that throws a circle of graded sunset colour across a wall or a ceiling. The effect is warm and dusky, running from deep amber through to soft rose, and it changes the character of a room far more than its 9cm height would suggest. The housing is plain durable ABS, so the object itself stays discreet and the projected light does all of the work.
Rotating the lamp changes the angle of the beam, which in turn changes the size and position of the projected circle, so it sits closer to the wall for a tight saturated disc and further back for a broad wash. Colour saturation is strongest in a darkened room. The LED source runs on USB power at 36V or less, so there are no batteries to replace and no warm-up time before the effect appears.
It is a favourite for bedrooms, studios and desk corners, and for photography or video backdrops where a quick warm key light is useful. Set it on a stable, level surface with the cable routed away from walkways and out of reach of small children. Use it indoors in dry rooms only. The light is decorative and atmospheric rather than any kind of therapy lamp. Wipe the housing with a dry soft cloth.
