Travertine Stone Wall Lamp

The Travertine Stone Wall Lamp sets a frosted glass sphere against a block of authentic yellow travertine. The stone is left to show its own texture and pitting, so no two pieces look quite the same, and the pale natural colour sits well against white, timber and clay-toned walls. It is a small fixture with a sculptural presence, drawn from Japanese minimalism rather than from any passing trend.

The frosted glass diffuser is what makes the light comfortable: it takes the output of the included G9 bulb and spreads it evenly, so you get a warm halo instead of a visible filament. The lamp runs on AC 85 to 260 V. The body measures 12 cm long, 10 cm wide and 15 cm high, with a 10 cm glass sphere, and its weight comes from solid stone rather than from a plated shell.

Use it beside a bed, along a corridor, in a dining area or in an entryway where a low, steady glow is more useful than overhead light. A pair either side of a headboard works particularly well. The lamp is hardwired for indoor use only and should be installed by a licensed electrician. Dust the stone with a dry soft cloth and keep acidic or abrasive cleaners away from the travertine surface.
