Vintage Flower Glass Pendant Lamp

The Vintage Flower Pendant Lamp hangs a petal-shaped glass shade from a brass-finished fitting, so the whole piece reads as retro without feeling fussy. The floral moulding catches the light along its ridges and gives the glass a faceted sparkle. Four finishes are offered, in gold, green, white and transparent, from a warm amber-leaning gold through to clear glass that almost disappears against a pale ceiling.

The shade is glass and the hardware brass, measuring 25 cm across and 20 cm high, on a 150 cm cord that can be adjusted at installation. Translucent glass diffuses the bulb evenly and softens the shadow it casts, which is what gives the lamp its romantic, sparkling character. It takes a single E26 or E27 bulb, LED or incandescent, which is not included, so the colour temperature is yours to choose. Voltage is AC 220-240 V, with 110-120 V supported.

It suits kitchens, dining areas and bedrooms, hung singly over a bedside table or in a run of three above an island or a long table. Mounting is to the ceiling and hardwired, so installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated. Indoor use only. Clean the glass with a soft, dry cloth and mild glass cleaner when needed, and avoid abrasive pads on the brass finish.
