Bedside Wall Lamp with Reading Arm

The Bedside Wall Lamp with Reading Arm does two jobs from one wall plate. A neutral fabric shade handles the soft, general light, while a slim flexible arm with an integrated LED spotlight bends out for close work. Each has its own switch, so you can run the ambient light alone, the reading light alone, or both together. The chrome base and clean lines give it a quiet hotel-room look.

The fabric shade diffuses the main E27 bulb, not included and rated to 60 W, spreading a warm, even wash that avoids hot spots on the wall. The reading arm stays tightly focused, which means one person can read while another sleeps. The body is iron with an electroplated chrome finish for a hard-wearing surface, and the fixture measures 28 cm long, 27 cm high and 18 cm deep on a 10 cm square base.

It suits bedrooms, guest rooms, studies and apartments, and lights a room of about three to five square metres. Mount it at shoulder height beside the headboard so the reading arm falls naturally into place. The lamp is hardwired for indoor use only and should be installed by a licensed electrician. Vacuum the fabric shade gently with a brush attachment, keep it dry, and switch off the power before changing a bulb.
